Dana Bacher Design is a boutique design studio with a specialization in kitchen and bath, located in charming Habersham, an award-winning community situated just a few miles away from downtown Beaufort. We offer fine, custom cabinetry and design/project coordination services. We are committed to a collaborative process that yields a highly customized, curated, elevated, and effortless design that genuinely reflects the spirit, personality, and interests of our clients.

Dana Bacher began her career working with a team of esteemed, award-winning designers where she had the opportunity to complete a wide range of kitchen and bath design projects, from extensive, large-scale kitchen remodels to bathroom makeovers. During her tenure at the design firm, Dana was the lead designer on several award-winning projects and two of her kitchen designs were selected by Houzz, the #1 online home improvement website, as the featured “Kitchen of the Week.” Acclaim for her work has also appeared in print publications, including a multi-page, center spread in a regional design magazine. Dana is a member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association and committed to honoring the industry standards and best practices the NKBA recommends.

OUR Services
DESIGN
Projects begin with a detailed survey of your household, lifestyle, and aesthetic preferences. Inspirational images are shared and we explore design ideas with you. We develop floor plans and full color drawings to help you visualize your future space.
SELECTION
We guide you throughout the selection process from cabinets, tiles, lighting, to color scheme. This may involve reviewing samples at our studio or visits to supplier sites.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Communication is key! With many trades involved in any given project, we work to keep all parties informed on critical updates.

DANA BACHER
Dana began her career in book publishing before she transitioned to design more than a decade ago. An award-winning designer, Dana enjoys collaborating with her clients to achieve their functional and aesthetic design goals.
CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER
KEN BACHER
Ken brings over 35 years of engineering expertise to his new role supporting Dana's design business. A Stanford-trained electrical engineer with a Ph.D. and more than nine patents to his name, Ken built his career designing high-powered lasers for communications and data center applications. Now retired from electrical engineering, he channels his precision and technical acumen into the kitchen design world—drafting cabinet orders, preparing CAD drawings, and ensuring every detail is executed with the same rigor that defined his engineering career.
DESIGNER
ANNMARIE BOWDEN
After co-founding Beaufort County’s first charter school and a career in education, AnnMarie embarked on her second act joining her husband Brad at Gooding Contractors, where she spent five years guiding clients through the custom home building and selection process. A collaboration with Dana on her own kitchen renovation sparked an instant creative connection, and she joins Dana Bacher Design thrilled to bring her knowledge of construction and love of beautiful, livable spaces to every client’s vision.

JESSICA CONNOLLY
Jessica is a recent graduate from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) where she studied interior design. Jessica brings great talent, technical ability and enthusiasm to every project.

After a successful career in marketing and heading up a major local hospital’s marketing department, Courtney is launching her second career at Dana Bacher Design offering her great abilities to connect with clients and work creatively.

JESSICA NEIFERT
Jessica started her career in fashion but realized her real passion was for kitchen and bathroom design. She comes to Dana Bacher Design from Williamsburg where she did kitchen design for a cabinetmaker.
